We are pleased to inform you that The Maritime Employers Association has lifted the lock-out and regular operations will be resumed at the Port of Montreal from 8am on Saturday July 24, 2010. All rail traffic has resumed and construction work continues. Diverted vessels are now en route back to Montreal and we will arrange the swiftest possible delivery of cargo to our customers.
We are evaluating the cost impact of this situation, which has been substantial, and will explore how to recover these costs with minimum inconvenience to our customers.
We deeply regret the inconvenience this situation has caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.
