东方海外在台湾营运的高雄港第二货柜中心码头,在二零零五年五月宣布，整个货柜码头已转变成为一个绿化的企业。该柜场已淘汰九部传统的货柜跨载机而改用六台轨道高架起重机。 |

东方海外宣布荣获二零零五年Lloyds List DCN 澳洲船运及运输奖 (Lloyd’s List DCN Australian Shipping and Transport Award) 的全年最佳船运商奖 (Shipping LIne of the Year)。颁奖仪式于十一月十七日于悉尼的一个隆重晚宴上举行。Lloyd’s已是第十年颁发该奖项。 |

Issued on behalf of the member lines of the Grand Alliance: Hapag-Lloyd Container Line (HLCL), MISC Berhad (MISC), Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL):– Slot-exchange and joint service to begin in early 2006 –Hamburg / Hong Kong / Kuala Lumpur / Seoul / Singapore / Tokyo – 6 October 2005: The member lines of the Grand Alliance (GA) and The New World Alliance (TNWA) today announced their agreement to co-operate on key trades from early 2006. |
