OOCL Customers enjoy enhanced Invoice accuracy
OOCL is pleased to inform our customers about the enhanced Invoice function in My OOCL Center, developed to meet the specific needs of our customers. My OOCL Center helps lower costs of doing business, saves time, and offers total transparency and maximum control.
The new Invoice features have been enhanced to provide maximum efficiency, consistency and accuracy in the billing process. The benefit of the Invoice feature is that it allows customers to find their invoices in My OOCL Center anytime, anywhere. Once the invoice is ready, customers can view it immediately. Users can search invoice details, view total outstanding charges, and print their invoices directly.
The Invoice feature helps improve internal record-keeping, reduces costs involved in manual effort, and ensures maximum accuracy when gathering and calculating invoices. Invoices can also be shared with associates or partners through the setup of the Relationship Manager function.
Additionally, an SOA (Statement of Accounts) is available in MOC Shipment Folder. An Invoice Archive is also available in the Shipment Folder, which allows customers to ‘e-Pouch’ invoices to any third parties with an email address.
"These features are unique to OOCL and offer an advantage to our customers in their supply chain," said CL Ting, Managing Director of Corporate Planning, OOCL. He explained that OOCL’s integrated computer system (IRIS-2) provides accurate information from contract, booking, and documentation to invoice. "Through My OOCL Center, customers can see exactly the same information as OOCL staff," said Mr Ting.
Existing customers with MOC or CargoSmart accounts can login to use this enhanced service for OOCL shipments. New users can register at http://www.oocl.com/ free of charge.
