OOCL SBX 1 service to commence weekly calls in Gothenburg

OOCL's SBX1 (Scan Baltic Express) weekly service will be now be making direct calls in Gothenburg, commencing with OOCL Finland on 16th April 2009.
This will allow improved transit time and schedule reliability for Swedish export cargo to Asia, North America and Australia via Hamburg.
This complements the Gothenburg direct call of the SBX2 service, which commenced recently and is focused on improved connections for Swedish import traffics.
Together, these direct calls by SBX1 and SBX2 service at Gothenburg will significantly strengthen the quality of service offered to OOCL’s Swedish customers. Apart from linking with services to and from Asia, North America and Australia, there will be additional Intra-European service links created, which in turn will assist OOCL’s customers develop their business opportunities.
The revised SBX1 service route will be: Antwerp / Rotterdam / Saint Petersburg / Gdansk / Gothenburg / Hamburg / Gdansk / Saint Petersburg / Antwerp.
The SBX2 service rotation is Hamburg / Gothenburg / Klaipeda / St Petersburg / Rauma / Gavle / Hamburg.
Vessels deployed on the SBX services are:
SBX 1 - OOCL St Petersburg and OOCL Finland, each of 1,008 teu nominal and OOCL Neva, 868 teu nominal
SBX 2 - OOCL Nevskiy and OOCL Narva, each of 868 TEU nominal.
