Road limitations:
In the Ukraine the total gross vehicle weight (vehicle, chassis, container, genset and cargo combined) for road haulage must not exceed 44,000 kg.
Slightly heavier payloads may be possible, but these will depend on the combined weight of the specific equipment being used. For example, an especially lightweight vehicle and chassis may have to be sourced, along with a container that is plated for a higher payload. These are offered subject to availability.
If you wish to transport cargo heavier than the recommended maximum cargo weight by road in Ukraine please contact your local OOCL Sales or Customer Service department with details.
Road limitations for transit cargoes are settled by legislation of Ukraine and destination country. Out of gauge cargoes may be handled using special equipment like OpenTop or Flat containers. Accurate cargo dimensions and weights are needed to enable appropriate handling and pricing: please email your local Sales office with full specifications.
