Southern California Ports' Clean Trucks Program effective Feb, 18 2009(CTP)
Please be reminded of the Clean Trucks Program that has been instated by the Ports of Los Angeles and Ports of Long Beach has become effective as of February 18, 2009. Details of the program is available from their web sites :

All 1988 and older trucks will be banned. - A Clean Truck Fee of $35 per TEU ($70 for lager sizes) will be assessed by the terminal operator for all loaded containers entering or leaving the terminal gate via a drayage truck, except that if the truck used is 2007 or later model with EPA compliant and not purchased with port's fund or trucks using alternative fuel (e.g LNG) will be exempted from the fee application.
- Beneficial Cargo Owner is responsible for the Clean Truck Fee.
