Pakistan - Pakistan's agency included in B/L for shipments going to Afghanistan

Please note that All Afghanistan destined cargo are handled in Pakistan by the designated Cargo Clearing Agent or Freight Forwarding Agent located in Pakistan. With immediate effect please note that the Bill of Lading (B/L) must show information of Cargo Clearing Agent / Forwarding Agent in Pakistan or arrival notices cannot be issued.

a) All Port of Loadings are advised to ensure to get the details of local cargo clearing agent / Forwarding Agent at the time of booking.

b) B/L must show:

Port of Discharge/Final Destination - as Keamari, Karachi or Port Qasim, Karachi.

B/L customers - Afghanistan customer should be shown as the consignee;

- Cargo Clearing Agent / Forwarding must be added to the Notify column with complete local details / Tel / Fax / email address

Marks & Numbers - For all Afghan shipments below remarks should be mentioned in Marks & Numbers column:

"Cargo In transit to Kabul, Afghanistan Via Karachi"
