Customer Advisory: Gateway Express 2 (GEX2) Proof of Report Document Cutoff Change

Please be advised that for OOCL cargo the Gateway Express 2 (GEX2) service Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) Proof of Report Document Cutoff will be amended to Friday at 16:00 Eastern time, effective with the vessel Montreal Express Voyage 162 E, ETA December 7th, 2009 to Montreal.

The Gateway Express 1 (GEX1) CBSA Proof of Report Document Cutoff for port of loading Montreal will remain unchanged at Wednesday 16:00 Eastern Time.

The CBSA Proof of Report Number may be from one of the following: the Canadian Automated Export Declaration, G7 EDI Reporting number, B13 Export Declaration number, Summary Reporting number, or the No Declaration Is Required number for exempt cargo.

As a reminder to facilitate cargo loading, please submit the CBSA Proof of Report Number on your shipping instructions for all Canada Origin cargo loading via Canada load ports to the OOCL Documentation Team by the designated due date. If unable to provide complete shipping instructions by the designated due date, please submit the CBSA Proof of Report Number via email to your OOCL Customer Service representative. Failure to provide the CBSA Proof of Report Number in writing to OOCL by the designated due date will result in export cargo, if already received at port of loading Montreal, being rolled to the next available vessel with the exporter being responsible for all associated costs incurred.
