Customer Advisory: Emergency Revenue Charge effective January 15, 2010

Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd would like to to inform our valued customers that effective January 15th 2010 we will be implementing an Emergency Revenue Charge in the Asia, India & Subcontinent to USA Trade.

The trading conditions for carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term.

This Emergency Revenue Charge is necessary to continue to operate our services with the high level of reliability our customers have come to expect.

The filed increase is as follows:

  • USD 320 per 20'
  • USD 400 per 40'
  • USD 450 per 40’HQ
  • USD 505 per 45’HQ

Please note this is an interim charge & set to expire upon contract renewal.

For any further information, please kindly contact your local Sales Representative.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support to OOCL.
