Customer Advisory:  European Union 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Regulation Documentation Cutoff

In order to comply with the new European Union (EU) 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Regulation effective on December 31st 2010, OOCL  appreciates your kind cooperation to provide your complete shipping instructions (including AES information with container and seal number information) at least 2 working days prior to the cargo load port cutoff. This will allow for your cargo to be included in our manifest documentation preparation and submission to EU Customs within the required time frame.  The documentation cutoff information will be published on www.oocl.com and in our OOCL Booking Acknowledgements / Confirmations.  Effective December 31, 2010 cargo not included in the manifest process will not be allowed to be loaded on board the booked vessel.

The EU 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Regulation applies to all North America laden export cargo on vessels destined to EU ports of call.  Additional information will be provided in regards to the EU 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Regulation once available.
