Customer Advisory:  New OOCL Chassis Policy

Effective January 1, 2011, OOCL will no longer provide chassis for import and export shipments to/from the following locations:

Buffalo, NY
El Paso, TX
Harrisburg, PA
Huntsville, AL
Jacksonville, FL
Laredo, TX
Tampa, FL

All motor carriers, either working as suppliers for OOCL or OOCL customers, must provide chassis for these shipments.  For motor carriers that do not own their own equipment, chassis are available at these locations from one or more of the major leasing companies on a daily use basis.  Chassis usage fees for Merchant (CY) moves should be billed by the motor carrier directly to their customer.
