Customer Advisory:  Hurricane Sandy Update #2, November 5,  2012

Our New York office located at One Wall Street Plaza (88 Pine St) remains closed at this time due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. We want to provide you with the following update to assist with your business needs. Terminal and vessel operations at the Port of New York and New Jersey resumed today, November 5, 2012.

Demurrage & Detention
Demurrage:  Application of OOCL on terminal demurrage will be suspended in line with application by the New York terminals, with the demurrage clock stopped for the period of October 29, 2012 through November 4, 2012 with the clock resuming November 5th.

Detention:  Similarly, we will blanket extend detention for OOCL containers out to customers for 7 days commencing with the date of terminal closure, October 29, 2012.
