Local Surcharges applied in Vietnam- Container Reuse Charge (CRU)

Applied for OB from Vietnam under Transpacific Trade (TPT)

Dear Esteemed Customers,

As we have filed under FMC rule & published on site herewith

We would like to announce that with effect on 11 May 2023, we will apply the local surcharge named “Container Reuse Charge" in English & “Phụ phí sử dụng lại container hàng nhập đóng hàng xuất" in Vietnamese (its charge code should be “CRU") for TPT OB shipments that customer request to re-use equipment (empty container) of inbound shipment for outbound shipment (excluding special equipment.

The scope & details have been filed as below:

• Scope: Outbound from Vietnam under Transpacific Trade (TPT-EB)
• Charge tariff: VND1,500,000/container

• For TPTEB shipments from Vietnam:
• At Carrier's sole discretion, the shipper of inbound CY shipment using container other than special equipment may be allowed to reuse the inbound container for outbound CY shipment subject to a Container Re-use Fee of VND 1,500,000 per container.

  Notes: - VAT included.
  
  - “Cargo receipt date" for Regulated Trade;
  
  - For Special Equipment: Container Reuse is subject to OOCL's review & approval, so it's excluded from this filing. Any specific requirement, customer should contact our Customer Service Representative in our local offices to be updated.
