Capacity Management Programme

OOCL would like draw to your attention that many Chinese mainland factories will temporarily halt production during the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. In response to the anticipated sharp decrease in southbound volume, OOCL plans to temporarily postpone three voyages on our Australia/China Express (ACE) service, taking effect after the Lunar New Year.    

OOCL will have sufficient capacity to cater to southbound (import) customer demands with our AANA (AEA2) service. For our Northbound (export) customers we have added a Northbound Kaohsiung call to the AANA (AEA2) service and have other routing alternatives to help to maximize acceptance of your cargo. Our Customer Service team is now reviewing current export bookings and will be in contact with you shortly.

The ACE (AEA1) postponed voyage details are as follows:

• CSCL Qingdao 102S/103N (Vessel lay up upon full discharge in SHA on Jan 29) – first NB call was scheduled to be Sydney ETD 14 Feb
• CSCL Dalian 061S/062N (Vessel lay up upon full discharge in SHA on Feb 5) - first NB call was scheduled to be Sydney ETD 21 Feb
• OOCL Yokohama 019N/S (Vessel lay up upon full discharge in SHA on Feb 11) – first NB call was scheduled to be Sydney ETD 28 Feb
