Facsimile has been an essential tool in many industries and continues to play a vital role in some business communications.

The traditional method of printing the document is both wasteful of personnel time and inefficient. Improvements have therefore continued not only in fax systems but how information is exchanged generally. 

With this in mind, many of our documents are either available on My OOCL - (MOC) for absolute ease, or via email with PDF attachments.

This includes our standard documents such as Arrival Notices & Invoices, Electronic Delivery Orders & Booking Confirmations.

OOCL is a leader in developing capabilities in e-commerce and my OOCL (MOC) is easily available by registering on MY OOCL CENTER  

My OOCL (MOC) has a number of great features with one of the latest changes being "Shipment Folder" which allows you to exchange pertinent documents on line. 

The day of faxing is quickly being overcome as a technology and on the Export side, we are now planning to move all of our BL Faxing to email with PDF.

This is planned for phase out by the end of this year.  

If you are already registered on My OOCL (MOC), and not using the BL by email option, all that is required is for your administrator to amend the preferences in "Bill of Lading Document Manager" by following the following steps. 

• Go to www.oocl.com
• Sign into MY OOCL CENTER
• Select "Administration" on the main menu followed by "My Profile" from the drop down menu.
• Select "Email Subscriptions" Tab
• Scroll down to "Bill of Lading Document Manager"
• Select Draft Bill of Lading auth PDF.

Once this has been completed you can commence receiving you draft BL on email.  

You will be able to easily print if required, file or send on to your business partners.
