Revision of Port Charges in Australia

Following increases of charges notified by port authorities, as well as increases in costs by landside service providers, we find that the line is unable to absorb these heavy additional costs. There was a need to review the local charges that apply on both import and export cargo in Australia.

Following the review, the new charges listed below will be applied effective from 1st July, 2010.

Charges on imports are subject to GST of 10%.
