Terminal Handling Charges
For Dangerous Goods
A review of costs relating to the handling of Dangerous Goods in Australia has been conducted. Following the review we have concluded that a restructuring on the Terminal Handling Charge is required. This has been done to reflect the changes identified in the review onto the type of cargo rather than spreading the burden over all cargos.
We announce that effective 1st May, 2010 that a new category of Terminal Handling Charges will be introduced for Dangerous Goods cargo. The new category and level are summarised in the table below.
