Temperature Reset Fee
When refrigerated containers are required to have the temperature reset after coming under OOCL care there are costs and administrative charges involved. This can happen at the container terminals either end or during transit. There have been charges of varying amounts that have been applied in different areas. It has therefore been decided that there will now be a standard charge applied for this additional service.
Effective from 13th March 2010, OOCL will be implementing a standard Temperature Reset Fee of US$150.00 per reset. This will be in addition to any recovery of additional rehandling, such as lifting charges of other outgoings.
The Temperature Reset Fee will be applicable across all trades and on a global basis. For FMC regulated trades, customers will be contacted separately once filing requirements have been completed.
