Australian Terminal Handling Charges Import and Export

– Effective Date 1^st July 2012

 

In our objective to make our invoices more transparent and comprehensive to our customers, we have simplified our local surcharge structure to reduce the time that you spend on reviewing invoices by merging the Terminal Handling Charge with the following local surcharge items:.

n  CY Port Service Charge 

n  Equipment Handover Charge

n  Security Surcharge

n  Port Access (in Brisbane)

 

 

Below are the new tariffs for the Terminal Handling Charge (in AUD currency):

Apart from simplifying the above mentioned surcharges, the new tariff also reflects the result of a revenue-neutral solution after our recent review of port related costs through negotiations with the local service providers.

 

The effective date will be on July 1, 2012, and applicable to all inbound and outbound trades to and from Australian ports.

 

Kindly note that the Melbourne Port License Fee of AUD35 per teu, effective on July 1, 2012, will be an individual surcharge item and is not embedded in the Terminal Handling Charge.
