& Hong Kong, Taiwan Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge
Following our previous announcement dated 12th December 2018 on the implementation of China Low Sulphur (CLS) surcharge via all China ports, in order to comply with the recent and expanded introduction of Low Sulphur usage mandates and surcharges by Chinese authorities, OOCL wishes to advise the CLS quantum and effective date will be revised as below for both inbound and outbound shipment via all China ports on Australia / New Zealand services.
With effective 11th November 2018 until 9th January 2019
– via Shanghai / Ningbo Port (including Yangtze River inland cargo via Shanghai / Ningbo)
With effective 10th January 2019 – all mainland China ports
And, Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge (LSS) will be implemented as following:
at Hong Kong port with effective 10th January 2019 with quantum of HKD 195 / TEU
at Taiwan ports with effective 1st January 2019 with quantum of USD 34 / TEU.
All dates are based on on-board date.
For shipments into Australia / New Zealand, this is chargeable to the shipper at origin.
For shipments from Australia / New Zealand, this is chargeable to the consignee at destination.
