OOCL's eBill of Lading (eBL) now offers Auto Transfer from shipper to consignee and Auto Surrender from consignee to OOCL — giving customers the same ease as a Seaway Bill, with greater control, security, and visibility.

OOCL is transitioning all eligible Sea Waybill customers to eBL.

Only a 1 x time set up needed:

Once set up, Auto Transfer and Auto Surrender enable instant eB/L transfer to consignee and then instant surrender to OOCL for automatic cargo release instructions.

Reduce administrative workload:

Less email exchanges with OOCL for SWB issuing or cargo release instructions. Once Auto features are set up, there is no need to log in to system on a per shipment basis.

Enhanced Security and Traceability:

Customers have instant access to Digital Audit trails. Log in to system to see past eBL transfer & surrender dates.  Reduce risk of loss or fraud and improve operational visibility.

Getting Started is Easy:

OOCL will be reaching out to customers using SWB to guide them through a simple, one-time setup process to begin using eBills of Lading.
