GAS (Giant African Snail) – Australian Government Department of Agriculture requirement is that for cargo from countries listed on the Country Action List (CAL) are inspected prior to release from the terminal, unless special arrangements have been made with the department.

Shipments from CAL list requires mandatory action without exception and are subject to GAS INSPECTION FEE plus wash and fumigation charges if the department orders such service to be performed.

Miscellaneous Charges
Late Shipping Instruction Lodgment Fee - A$150 + GST per shipping instruction
Charged for shipping instruction lodged over 2 days calendar days after the vessel departs will be charged a Late Shipping Instruction fee.
Bill of Lading Amendment Fee - A$90 plus GST per bill of lading
Charged for bills of lading amended subsequent to a bill of lading being confirmed correct.
Late Freight Payment Fee - A$150 + GST per bill of lading (effective 1st August 2026)
Charged for freight not being paid before the 10th day after a vessel sails from the loading port.
Express Release Fee - A$150 + GST per bill of lading
Charge for Bills of Lading where an Express release is required.
Certificate Fee - A$100 + GST per Certificate.
Charge for Bills of Lading Certificate is requested.
Advance Manifest Fee – USD30 per B/L
Correction to Advance Manifest – USD40 per B/L
DAFF Certification Charge – AUD100 per container + GST
Switch B/L Fee AUD150 per B/L + GST
Late Receival Request – AUD500 per container +GST
Late Receival - No Show Charge – AUD500 per container +GST
VGM Amendment Fee – AUD300 +GST
Booking Cancellation Fee -- USD100/container + GST
Charge applies for bookings/containers cancelled within 10 calendar days prior to vessel cutoff date.
Change of Vessel/Booking Rolled/Transfer Fee -- USD100/container + GST
Charge applies for Bookings rolled/Transferred to another vessel within 10 calendar days prior to vessel cutoff date.
Booking No Show Fee -- USD100/container + GST
Charge applies for bookings/containers which are not delivered for the intended vessel.
HAZARDOUS & DG CARGO MISDECLARATION
Misdeclaration of Cargo Fee = Up to USD 50,000 – See Rule Tariff Detail
- Administration Fee USD1000 per container applies in addition to the Misdeclaration Penalty Fee.
DANGEROUS GOODS
DG Amendment Fee = AUD150 + GST
- Applies for each amendment/application.
DG Cancellation Fee = AUD150 + GST
DG Tier Charge to be applied per booking based on number of DG lines:
- 1- 5 lines -- No charge
- 6 - 9 lines -- AUD350 + GST
- 10 - 15 lines -- AUD500 + GST
- 16 lines or above – not accepted
