We would like to inform you that the FEFC members have decided to implement a new and more transparent Europe-Asia Eastbound tariff which will come into effect on October 1st 2007. The tariff will comprise elements for ocean freight, terminal handling charges in Europe and Asia, outport additionals and bunker and currency surcharges. It is hoped that this new structure will bring the much-needed stability to the trade.
