Canadian Gateway North Atlantic Trade – Route 3 service temporarily suspended
As a result of economic downturn and falling demand the members of the St. Lawrence Coordinated Services (SLCS) (OOCL and Hapag Lloyd) would like to advise that the Route-3 service from Montreal to Europe (GEX3 service) will be temporarily suspended, with immediate effect.
The Route-1 service (GEX1) will be upgraded through the injection of additional tonnage, allowing Liverpool to be added to the existing weekly rotation. New port rotation is as follows: Montreal/Liverpool/ Antwerp/ Southampton/ Le Havre/ Montreal.
The Route-2 weekly service (GEX2) covering Hamburg and Antwerp will remain unchanged.
