We are referring to our earlier updates on the potential strikes that might be taking place as from early January in the various US ports, especially on the East coast and Gulf ports.

We would like to inform you that the discussions between the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) are still ongoing, and the next meeting is planned for 10 December. Until today the previous discussions have not resulted in any concrete progress yet.  

Whilst these negotiations are still ongoing, at this very moment there is no additional information to be shared, but we would like to refer you to following website which might be a handy tool for your further follow up as well.
