1 Definition of Key Terms

Inbound​

Combined demurrage and detention(DD2in1) calculation shall commence on the first calendar day after Last Hub arrival and end at 23:59 pm on the same day as empty return.

Outbound

Combined demurrage and detention(DD2in1) calculation shall commence at 00:00am on the same day of empty gate out and end at 23:59 pm on the first calendar day after Cargo Cut off.

 3. Remark

  • The tariff covers all trades in Benin
  • The tariff is calculated by calendar day. (i.e. including Saturday, Sunday & National holiday)
  • The tariff does not include any storage and reefer charges at port of inland facility, all these charges should be paid by customer directly.
  • As local practice, port related charges (i.e., storage charges) are directly settled by customer to the terminals. Carrier is not involved in the calculation and collection of port storage charges.​
