Customer Advisory: CPR Obico Intermodal Terminal Closure
Dear Valued Customer,
The Canadian Pacific Railroad (CPR) will be closing its Obico Terminal in Toronto and consolidating its intermodal operations to its CP Vaughan Intermodal Terminal in Toronto effective Monday, October 22nd, 2012.
Last Import Vessels to Obico Intermodal Terminal in Toronto:
• GEX 2 Toronto Express Voyage 215 W ETA to Montreal is October 8th
• GEX 1 MSC Nuria Voyage 681 W ETA to Montreal is October 11th
First Import Vessels to Vaughan Intermodal Terminal in Toronto:
• GEX 2 Montreal Express Voyage 210 W ETA to Montreal is October 15th
• GEX 1 Ottawa Express Voyage 016 W ETA to Montreal is October 18th
Last Export Vessels with Cargo Receipt at Obico Intermodal Terminal in Toronto:
• GEX 2 Montreal Express Voyage 210 E which will have an export cutoff at Obico on Monday, October 15th
• GEX 1 Ottawa Express Voyage 016 E which will have an export cutoff at Obico on Thursday, October 18th
Effective Export Vessels with Cargo Receipt at Vaughan Intermodal Terminal in Toronto:
• GEX 2 OOCL Montreal Voyage 219 E which will have an export cutoff at Vaughan on Monday, October 22nd
• GEX 1 MSC Alyssa Voyage 057 E which will have an export cutoff at Vaughan on Thursday, October 25th
CPR Import Shipment Free-time and Storage Cost at Vaughan Intermodal Terminal: Free-time is 48 hours from date of notification of arrival. Sundays and Legal Holidays are not included in the free-time calculation. The daily storage rate once free-time has expired is $175 per day for the first 3 days. After the first 3 days of storage, the storage rate per day is $225 per day.

The Vaughan Intermodal Terminal open is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
CPR does not anticipate any service issues or delays. There will not be any change in the export cutoff date at Vaughan Intermodal Terminal.
