TCRC has provided the required 72-hour strike notice to Canadian Pacific Railway CPR

The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) has provided the required 72-hour strike notice to Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). If no contract renewal agreement is reached, a possible work disruption could commence beginning at 0001 hours on Wednesday, 5/23/12. We are hopeful that CPR and TCRC will reach an agreement to continue to work on Tuesday prior to the strike deadline, however, in the event an agreement is not reached, it is likely that an embargo will be put in place by CPR prohibiting all container traffic from being accepted into CPR ramps.

We will keep you informed as additional information becomes available.
