Montreal Low Water Surcharge
Dear Valued Customer,
Currently, water levels in the St. Lawerence River are at unusually low levels as a result of less winter snow and less rainfall during the spring. The latest projections are that water levels will not improve in the coming months.
A Low Water Surcharge will be implemented for all cargo moving via the Port of Montreal with effect from May 26th, 2012 as follows:
- USD $75 per 20' container
- USD $150 per 40' container and 45' container
