OOCL would like to advise that the TAT surcharges for April will be as follows:

Effective on cargo receipt of April 1st, 2013

BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor)
For Eastbound Cargo from Canada and US Cross-Border Origins to Europe and Westbound Cargo from Europe
US$256/per 20’ container
US$512/per 40’ container and 45’ container

For Eastbound Cargo from Atlantic/Gulf Coast to Europe and Westbound Cargo
from Europe

US$334/per 20’ container
US$668/per 40’container and 45’ container

For Eastbound Cargo from Pacific Coast to Europe and Westbound Cargo from Europe
US$492/per 20’ container
US$984/per 40’ container and 45’ container

CAF (Currency Adjustment Factor)
For Eastbound Cargo from Canada and US to Europe
US$67/per 20' container
US$114/per 40' container and 45’ container

For Westbound Cargo from Europe to Canada and US
US$84/per 20’ container
US$109/per 40’ container and 45’ container

Swedish Port Dues

Please note there has been an adjustment to the Swedish Port Dues (SPD) for Gothenburg due to additional charges being assessed by the Port of Gothenburg. Effective March 15, 2013 the applicable SPD in Gothenburg will be:

  • SEK283 per 20’ container
  • SEK402 per 40’ container

For all other Swedish ports the SPD will remain unchanged at:

  • SEK275 per 20’ container
  • SEK390 per 40’ container

Inbound Documentation Fee

Please note the Inbound Documentation Fee (DCF) for cargo to Denmark is being increased by DKK25 effective April 1st, 2013 to DKK350 per bill of lading.
