Customer Advisory: Change in Canadian Pacific Railway Border Crossing Location

Effective Monday, December 2nd Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) will change the Canada/United States border crossing point for the Port of Montreal – Chicago and Minneapolis corridor. Bensenville and Minneapolis origin cargo will now be moving through the Buffalo, New York border crossing.

Please note for Bensenville and Minneapolis CPR origin cargo via the Port of Montreal gateway, the US Port of Export will be Buffalo, New York for Automated Export System (AES) filing. For Bensenville and Minneapolis CPR destined cargo via the Port of Montreal gateway, the US Port of Entry will be will be Buffalo, New York.
