Claim Assistant/Claim Officer - Insurance & Claims​

Accountabilities

• Manage the cargo claim system – Claim-Smart, in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

• Follow payment process, in compliance with company policy & guideline.

• Responsible for varied reports generation.

• Provide assistant-job to cargo claim handling as per training and assignment, for example, sending acknowledgement emails to externals, carrying out basic internal investigation, holding liable party responsible and etc.

• Responsible for cargo claims handling with necessary guidance / in line with relevant manual.

Requirements

• University graduated or higher (maritime law degree is an advantage);

• More than 3 years working experience on cargo claims handling and / or international shipping / logistics company;

• Able to read, write and speak fluent English;

• Knowledge on PC (word and excel);

• Attention to details;

• Willing to dedicate to Maritime Law field;

• Good communication and negotiation skill.
