(Senior) Ship Planner - Marine Operations​

Accountabilities


  • Ship Planning of OOCL vessels on all assigned services, can be readily contacted at all times when assigned vessel is in assigned Region.
  • Act as OOCL LPO POE (Line Planning Office Point of entry), to approve member lines' COD/OOG/Break Bulk/Special cargo applications according to guidelines, to monitor consortium member lines' vessel stowage and allocation control.
  • Issue vessel Discharge and Stowage Instructions direct to Terminals, to monitor Terminal performance.
  • Cost control and revenue generation reporting, assigned vessel performance monitoring and control in accordance with OOCL procedures.
  • Stowage model make out & revised timely according vessel phase in movement and improve stowage quality.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in marine / seafare background and shipping/operation related field.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in terminal operation or other departments.
  • Good knowledge and skill  in shipboard management and cargo stowage planning.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and team work spirit.
