Exception: 14 calendar days free time for Dry Container only where empty is picked up from the rail facility QIN21-Qingdao Minggang Huangdao Station and laden is delivered to carrier at Load Port.​

​2. Remarks  
           
  • As local practice, consignee will deal with the fee occurs in terminal with port authority directly.
  • Corresponding Tier Detention and Demurrage (Storage) Calculation: The Corresponding Tier Detention & Demurrage (D&D) Calculation is a specific methodology to calculate D&D charge after expiry of D&D free time. Unless otherwise specified in a service contract and/or rate filing, demurrage and/or detention charges upon free time expiry shall be assessed per Carrier's applicable tariff charge tier based on the actual day exceeding the tariff free time. More details please refer to global rule tariff in OOLL-100 A-2 of Definitions.
  • Special equipment, include dangerous commodities and reefer equipment, the free time is subject to change according to terminal restrictions.
  • For Natioanl Day Holiday and Chinese New Year Holiday, pls refer to E-40-22
  • The terminated booking (customer cancels booking after empty pickup) or terminated container (empty is taken and then returned to carrier but booking remains), which is not incurred by OOCL reason, will not enjoy free day set in standard DD tariff or DD agreement, all applicable charge should be calculated and collected. Global Tariff Rule is under D-25 - Withdra​wal of Export Shipment/Container.​​

*No detention charges will be collected from clients for SOC TK equipment.
