ANNOUNCEMENT
Unacceptable Package Unit
“Pallet”, “Bundle” and “Skid”
to be shown as Quantity Packages on Bill of Lading

Dear Customers, 

With reference to more and more customs regulations that require carriers to declare manifest with the innermost package type for consolidated cargo by “Pallet”, “Bundle” and “Skid”, with immediate effect, we will not accept to show the above mentioned three package types in the field of Quantity Packages on our Bill of Lading. It’s allowed to show it in the field of Description of packages and goods. We will require all of our customers to provide the smallest visible unit as innermost package type and show as quantity packages on our Bill of Lading to ensure successful customs declaration & smooth cargo delivery at destination.

Should any shipment cannot fulfill the requirements, it might NOT be allowed to discharge due to customs rejection. Any penalty and additional costs incurred would be on account of cargo.
