We would like to bring you the attention that we have received the China customs' notice regarding the new import requirement of Waste/Scrap shipment. Effective on Jun 1,2010, Mixed load of below 3 types of Waste/Scrap shipment is prohibited for importing to China (including both North and South China)
- Waste Paper
- Metal Scrap
- Plastic Scrap
Thus, the booking acceptance for Waste/Scrap shipment will only be straight load (under one harmonized code) of the above mentioned commodities. Mixed Metal scrap, Mixed Plastic Scrap and Mixed Plastic Scrap is prohibited.
