Dalian Port - Reefer Discharge Disruption Notice
Dalian Port - Reefer Discharge Disruption Notice
January 20, 2021

Dear Valued Customer,

In view of the reefer plug limitation and operational constraints at Dalian terminal, it is informed that chilled or frozen fruits, in addition to frozen meat and frozen seafood, are prohibited for discharge until further notice.

As a result, change of diversion at an alternative discharge port would be required. All extra costs including but not limited to storage, demurrage, power, monitoring, plugging and unplugging at the alternative discharging port and subsequent extra on-carriage cost to original destination shall be for Merchant's account and payable upon delivery.

For shipments en-routing for Dalian port, customers are encouraged to arrange change of destination to other ports, in order to avoid any last-minute re-routing.

For existing bookings with or without empty reefer container pick up, customers are suggested to cancel the booking or change the booking to other discharging port.

Under such circumstances, we'll temporarily suspend booking acceptance for Dalian destination with immediate effect until situation is improved.

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of OOCL. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our local customer representatives.
