Dear Customers,

To assist our customers to navigate this extraordinary time when Covid-19 precautionary measures remain in place in Shanghai, the following charges will be exempted by OOCL until further notice:

• ​COD admin fee for cargo with the original port of discharge being the port of Shanghai, but changed to other domestic ports resulting from the precautionary measures that are currently in effect in Shanghai;
  
• Order cancellation fee for cargo booking via FreightSmart but cannot be shipped on time resulting from the precautionary measures that are currently in effect in Shanghai;
• Extra detention fee resulting from the precautionary measures that are currently in effect in Shanghai;
• Service fee for telex release and sea waybill before original bill of lading release.
  
   OOCL also offer the below arrangements for customers to manage their shipment:

• Customers can apply for OBL release at other OCHL offices in China without any service charge.
• Customers can return original bill of lading to OCHL offices other than Shanghai without service charges.
