2. Transshipment Restrictions
For transshipment cargo to South China, in normal circumstances, OOCL will declare “International transshipment” to customs unless “Domestic transshipment” is indicated from customer before customs manifest submission.  Below table shows the parts of services of "Domestic Transshipment arrangement" for easy reference only. Customers are reminded if cargo import to South China is required to be arranged under “Domestic transshipment”,  you are required to provide such special request at time of booking at Port of loading to ensure the BL destination is accepted in list below. 7. Customs Requirements

Guangdong

All of Import, Export cargos must to comply the government regulations on export and import permit, export and import duties and various inspection certificates such as Commercial Inspection, Animal & Plant Inspection and/or Health Inspection......etc, which are all required prior to cargo release by Customs for Export and Import. The customs declaration and clearance are also required on each individual shipment basis.

8. Customs Restrictions 

     8.1) Import Prohibited Articles        
             8.1.1) Weapons, simulation of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
             8.1.2) Counterfeit currency and counterfeit securities
             8.1.3) The publications, films, photographs, recordings, films, tapes, videos, laser video disks, computer storage media and other items which are harmful to china political, economic, cultural and moral
             8.1.4) Various potent poisons
             8.1.5) Opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana and other drug and psychotropic substances which can make a person addicted
             8.1.6) With dangerous bacteria, insects and other pests of animals, plants and their products
             8.1.7) That is not conducive to the health of human beings and animals, or from infected areas, or the food, medicine and other items which can spread diseases
             8.1.8) Ivory and its products
             8.1.9) Solid waste
             8.1.10) Used Auto / Second-hand Auto
             8.1.11) Right-hand drive cars
