Maximum Payload of the Container

We would like to draw to your attention the importance in observing the maximum payload of the container. This maximum payload is the safety limit of the total cargo gross weight loaded in a container and should not be exceeded.

If the maximum payload is exceeded, it may result in unexpected operational hazard which could cause not only damage to your goods (and maybe other people’s) but worst still possible human casualties. Meanwhile, shipment exceeded the maximum payload may face with the following consequences:-

- refusal acceptance of the container into the terminal
- refusal to be discharged at port of discharge
- removal of cargos from the container
 
In addition, shipment weight should comply with the legal road/ rail limitation of all countries in the shipment route or it cannot be delivered to the intended destination safely and on schedule, as well as occurrence of possible penalty and extra handling costs.

Safety in cargo transportation is a principal concern of the industry. It is both of our duties to ensure such safety to be conformed. Therefore, we would like to seek your co-operation to ensure your shipment weight do not exceed the maximum payload of the container and the road/ rail limitation of concerned countries. 集装箱的最大载重量

集装箱的最大载重量是集装箱所载货物毛重的最高限额,在任何情况下均不能超越, 若不严格执行, 将留下一系列的安全操作隐患,不仅会导致贵司的(或者是其他方的)货物遭受损失,更可能危及生命。超载之货柜将会面临以下直接后果:

- 装货港拒绝集装箱进场
- 目的港拒绝集装箱卸载
- 无论货物的报关形式是清关或者转关, 部分货物必须被强行从集装箱中卸除

    此外，付运货物之重量应该遵守各目的地国家(包括中转国)/地区的法定公路/铁路运输限重规定,否则,货物将不能按照预定时间安全运抵目的地，并且可能会导致罚款及额外的操作费用。
