Advance Shipping Instruction Cut-off
Hong Kong / Macau / South China to Manila, Philippines
Dear Customers,
This is to inform you that the Manila customs has announced a new rule of advanced manifest submission for cargoes imported to Manila, Philippines effective from March 1, 2007. According to the new rule, carriers are required to submit electronic inward foreign manifest to Customs at least twelve (12) hours prior to vessel's arrival. As a result, the Shipping Instruction (SI) cut-off for the following service to Manila will be advanced.

Any SI submitted after our published SI cutoff will be subject to the late SI charge in HKD/RMB150.
The cut-off date and time is subject to change whenever there is change on the vessel schedule with or without prior notice.
Taking this opportunity, we would like to seek for your cooperation to submit your SI to OOCL before our published SI cut-off. The timely submission of SI could be in great help to ensure the smooth operation of your cargo releasing at destination. If there is late or no SI received, the related container(s) may not be allowed to discharge and your company will be held liable for any consequential losses, costs and penalty.
