​OOCL Takes Away Two CIFFA Awards

OOCL is proud to be honored with two awards from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) in the categories of ‘e-Business’ and ‘Region Carrier of the Year’.  The awards were presented to OOCL at the 10th annual CIFFA Forwarders Choice Award Gala held at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada, on April 12, 2012.

This year, CIFFA introduced an entirely different voting format and a new series of awards with a total of five categories, namely in ‘Customer Service’, ‘Operational Excellence’, ‘e-Business’, ‘Innovation’, and the last one, ‘Region Carrier of the Year’, given to the recipient that has the most accumulated votes across all the previous four categories for a particular region in Canada.

OOCL was nominated for all five categories and won the award for ‘e-Business’, as we were recognized by our supporters for our quality service in providing the best in technology and sales solutions to customers.  

We were also recognized with the ‘Region Carrier of the Year’ award for the Central Region after having received the most accumulated votes across all award categories. Our performance was recognized in the following areas: overall customer experience offerings, operational excellence, technology and sales solutions, and innovative solutions benefiting the freight forwarding industry.

Mr. David Watson, President of OOCL in Canada, accepted the awards at the event and attributed the reward to the hard work and support of the whole team in providing quality and professional services to our customers.
