On June 24, OOCL was named “Best Shipping Line – Intra Asia" at the 2026 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards held in Shanghai, marking the third time the Company has received this prestigious recognition.
On June 23, OOCL announced the launch of its new China Australia Express Loop (A3X). The A3X service is a key enhancement to OOCL's established A3 network, providing customers with greater flexibility, improved transit options, and expanded market access.
On June 12, OOCL received the following three awards at the “Joint Luncheon cum Award Presentation Ceremony 2026" jointly organized by the Hong Kong Marine Department and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA):
- Award for the Shipowner Placing the Most Gross Tonnage (GT) on the Hong Kong Shipping Register (HKSR) in 2025
- Award for Outstanding Performance in Port State Control (PSC) for the Year 2025
- Award for Company Recruiting the Most Hong Kong Sea-going Cadets in 2025
On June 4, OOCL announced the launch of its new Southeast Asia – Indian Subcontinent Service 2 (SIS2), offering customers an efficient direct connection between Haiphong and India West, while enhancing connectivity between China, Vietnam, and Singapore.

On May 8, OOCL held the naming ceremony of OOCL Wisdom, the Company's first methanol dual fuel container vessel and the first of a series of seven vessels. With a maximum capacity of 24,168 TEU, OOCL Wisdom is currently the world's largest methanol dual fuel container vessel. The delivery of the vessel marked a new milestone in technological innovation and low carbon development for OOCL's fleet.

On April 30, OOCL announced the order of twelve 13,600 TEU class LNG dual-fuel container vessels, marking another important step forward in the Company's efforts to advance low carbon shipping and energy transition.
On April 21, OOCL announced the launch of a new China Indonesia Service (CIS3), providing direct and reliable connections between South China's major export hubs and the key Indonesian gateways of Jakarta and Surabaya, enabling faster and more efficient transit times.
On April 16, OOCL announced the launch of China Indonesia Service (CIS1), which features an efficient port rotation, delivering faster transit times and supporting the continued growth of cargo volumes between China and Indonesia, while providing customers with greater service flexibility and enhanced schedule reliability.
On April 1, OOCL announced the launch of its new Southeast Asia – Indian Subcontinent Service (SIS), marking the company's first dedicated Southeast Asia service connecting India's west coast and Pakistan. This service will offer customers an efficient and reliable direct connection between Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, enhancing connectivity to both India and Pakistan.

On March 12, OOIL announced a profit attributable to equity holders of US$1,513 million for 2025.

On January 20, OOCL and its OCEAN Alliance partners announced the Day 10 products, which include port rotation refinements as well as enhanced service coverage and reliability, with an aim to provide world-class shipping solutions to customers, all while enhancing global trade stability and demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable future in shipping.
On January 16, OOCL received the Gold Award in the Transport and Logistics sector at the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) presentation ceremony held in Tseung Kwan O's Data Technology Hub. This is the fifth time that OOCL received this top honor, underscoring our long-standing commitment to environmental excellence.
OOCL FreightSmart marked its fifth anniversary. Since launching in January 2021, FreightSmart has evolved to meet the needs of shippers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and help them navigate an increasingly complex and dynamic shipping environment.
