OOCL receives "2008 AgTC Ocean Carrier Performance Award"

OOCL was honoured to be presented the "2008 AgTC Ocean Carrier Performance Award" by the Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC), at their 21st Annual Transportation Conference in San Francisco on June 12, 2008.

Each year, the AgTC surveys US agriculture shippers to assess overall ocean carrier performance in quality, service and documentation. The award was presented to OOCL’s Vice President (Transpacific Westbound Trade), Ed Zaninelli, by AgTC’s Executive Director, Peter Friedman. Mr Zaninelli was a speaker at the event.

AgTC was founded in 1987 with the objective of helping US agriculture exporters be more competitive in the international market. They also handle many other issues of concern to agriculture exporters especially ocean shipping issues, as well as monitoring government and commercial activity on ocean shipping and other transportation issues. OOCL has cooperated with AgTC for many years and has participated in their various forums and events around the US.
