OOIL launches new OOCL Kaohsiung Container Terminal website

The OOIL Group is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated website for OOCL Kaohsiung Container Terminal in Taiwan, www.kaoct.com

The new website gives a full overview of the terminal, in respect of its location, equipment and facilities, and environmentally friendly and port security features. It also outlines the terminal’s commitment to operational safety. Customers can learn about the full scope of business activities, operational procedures, truck gate hours, and cutting/receiving time for containers. Various shipping documents and contact details are available for download if a customer requires individual assistance.

The website also offers a function for online enquiries.  Without needing to pick up a phone, customers can learn about the latest terminal or operation-related announcements, vessel schedules, vessels currently at berth, as well as receive information on up to 10 containers at one time.

Customers can also find information about procedures for handling special cargo, such as Reefer (RF), Break-bulk (BB), and Out of Gauge Cargo (OOG) as well as other general containers.

Customers, carriers, shipping agents/ forwarders, and customs brokers can register on the website for a user account. This will give them access the latest information of OOCL Kaohsiung Container Terminal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including:

- Estimated arrival, berth, work and departure time for shipping companies and customs brokers
- Vessel at berth details, including vessel schedule and operation quay crane for KAOCT sub-contractors
