OOCL Malaysia has received the Best Supplier Award 2008 (Service) from one of its most important customers, Brother Industries Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (BITM) for its excellence in service delivery.

OOCL was given a high rating of 18 out of 20 on average in each of the following categories by the judging panel of the award, with a total score of 89 out of 100.

- Container Availability: containers are always available for customers’ collection;

- Quality of Services: accurate information for shipments such as booking no. or bill of lading is always available within designated timeframe;

-  Quality of Containers: containers are all under 10 year-old and seaworthy;

-  Quality in Cargo Handling:  no claims for carton box damages or mishandling by transporters;  and 

-  Customer Service and Response: quick response to customers’ urgent needs and being able to offer solutions and assistance when required.

BITM is a long established technology manufacturer for machines in printing, communications, industrial sewing and labeling.  OOCL supports BITM in transporting its products to USA, India, Japan and UAE.
