Montreal Low Water Surcharge

Dear Valued Customer,

Currently, water levels in the Canadian St. Lawrence River are unusually low because of less winter snow and fewer spring rainfall, and the latest projections indicate that the water levels will not improve in the months ahead.

In light of this situation, a Low Water Surcharge will be implemented for all cargo shipments via the Port of Montreal with effect from May 26 as follows:

• US$ 75 per 20’ container
• US$ 150 per 40’ or 45’ container
