OOCL announces service enhancements to form the South China Sea Middle East Express Service and Japan Express Service

Dear Valued Customers,

In our commitment to offering quality services and competitive products, OOCL is pleased to offer the South China Sea Middle East Express Service (SCX) and Japan Express Service (JPX), which are Grand Alliance service enhancements to succeed the current South China Sea Japan Express service.

Effective from April 22, the SCX will be operated with eleven 6,200 TEU vessels, offering a more comprehensive and expanded service coverage in the Middle East and US west coast.

Effective from May 9, the JPX will be operated with five 2,800 TEU vessels dedicated to serving Japan and the US west coast by providing more competitive transit times in this trade.

The port rotations for the two new services are as follow:

• South China Sea Middle East Express Service: 
Port Kelang > Singapore > Laem Chabeng > Yantian > Los Angeles > Oakland > Pusan > Shanghai > Ningbo > Yantian > Singapore > Colombo > Jebel Ali > Dammam > Port Kelang

• Japan Express Service: 
Kobe > Nagoya > Tokyo > Sendai > Long Beach > Oakland > Tokyo > Nagoya > Kobe
