Dear Valued Customer,
We regret to inform you that the containership MOL Comfort is in distress in the Indian Ocean while under way from Singapore to Jeddah on Monday, June 17.
The vessel, deployed in the Asia-North Europe LP1 service, was reported to have sailed through rough weather conditions at the time of the incident and suffered extensive damage to the hull with ingressing water in some cargo holds.
The 26 crew members that evacuated the vessel were reported to have been safely rescued
