OOCL Trans-Atlantic Service Update From May 2014

Dear Valued Customer:

Following the announcement by members of the G6 Alliance dated February 20 with details of their service expansion, OOCL is pleased to provide an update on our service network between North America and North Europe within the scope of the new cooperation. 

 The following Trans-Atlantic services will be offered by OOCL from May 2014:

• Atlantic Express 1 (AX1):
  Westbound first sailing:  Houston Express 056W ETD Le Havre May 11, 2014
  Eastbound first sailing:  Houston Express 057E ETD New York May 27, 2014

• Atlantic Express 2 (AX2):
  Westbound first sailing:  Stuttgart Express 096W ETD Southampton May 11, 2014
  Eastbound first sailing:  Stuttgart Express 096E ETD Veracruz May 31, 2014

• Pacific Atlantic 2 (PA2):
  Westbound first sailing:  Margrit Rickmers 001W ETD Rotterdam May 12, 2014
  Eastbound first sailing:  MOL Efficiency 068E ETD Miami Jun 8, 2014

The new service structure will significantly strengthen OOCL’s position in offering more comprehensive, seamless and efficient services with competitive transit times to meet market demand.   It will also expand our port coverage, including direct eastbound calls from Jacksonville, Miami and Vancouver, enhance port-pair connections, as well as improve on shipping schedules.

In addition to the four new products, OOCL will continue to offer our dedicated Gateway Express services between Montreal and North Europe as part of our comprehensive suite of Trans-Atlantic services:
